Elizabeth Hodson
Principal Consultant and Director
Elizabeth Hodson is an economic consultant combining strong quantitative and qualitative skills. She has first-hand experience of the educational sector in Africa, ranging from grass roots work, aid effectiveness studies through to ministerial level policy work. Her economic and statistical skills are grounded in a multidisciplinary approach incorporating social, political and strategic analysis. She has worked for governmental and private sector clients, including bilateral and multilateral donors, such as DFID and UNICEF. Elizabeth is the author of substantial sections of over a dozen reports for the European Commission, she has performed data analysis for international donors and investment funds, and calculated the economic impacts of a diverse range of policies. She has additional expertise in pooled funds, having undertaken multi-country research into the design and operations of pooled funding mechanisms in fragile and conflict affected states, as well as undertaking specific analytical assignments for various country-level pooled funds as clients.
