Clare Tunbridge is Mokoro’s Chief Executive,  leading the management of Mokoro’s consultancy and research portfolio. She has spent 12 years in the humanitarian sector in senior field leadership roles with international NGOs, most recently in Damascus, Syria where she was Country Director for 3 years. Other assignments include Lebanon, Jordan, D R Congo, emergency response in Mali and several years in Sudan/Darfur. She has experience with a range of major institutional donors (ECHO, DFID, USAID, SDC, SIDA, UNICEF, WFP, UNHCR) and has managed multi-sectoral programmes at scale.  Clare has a background in engineering, then strategy & planning, and prior to her humanitarian career worked in the UK civil service for 16 years.
