Magda Achcyng joined Mokoro in 2021 as Programme Coordinator and has since moved in to business development coordination. Magda also oversees the organisation’s internal business process improvement initiative.

Magda has diverse experience managing projects across commercial and charity sectors. Previously, Magda worked for a British NGO managing humanitarian and development aid projects across Syria, Turkey and Pakistan. She has also worked directly with beneficiaries, both in the UK and in refugee camps in Greece, experience that furthered her particular interest in improving the wellbeing of unaccompanied minors, young asylum seekers, and refugees. Prior to moving in to humanitarian and development sectors, Magda gained in-depth academic, as well as practical knowledge of IT and marketing. More recently, she successfully completed studies toward a postgraduate diploma in Humanitarian Practice at the University of Manchester.

Magda is fluent in English, Spanish and Polish.
