Vietnam poverty reduction support credit review
2006
World Bank, Vietnam
The Poverty Reduction Support Credit (PRSC) was a budget support instrument developed by the World Bank in Vietnam linked to the introduction of new policies and systems.
A Mokoro team, led by Ann Bartholomew, reviewed the multi-donor experience of the PRSC 1-5 cycle in Vietnam. The objective of the review was to assess the extent to which the PRSC has contributed to development outcomes in the sectors highlighted in the three pillars of the policy matrix, and lessons learned for the design of the PRSC 6-10 cycle and experience of the budget support process. |
