Technical support to the Sierra Leone Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper

| In 2007 a new government in Sierra Leone was elected on a manifesto that emphasized economic growth, job creation and private sector development as key priorities. The Government prepared its second Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP II) in 2008 in order to translate the electoral manifesto into a comprehensive strategy for economic growth, supported by an analysis of the economic and policy actions that will help sustain growth in Sierra Leone.
Mokoro consultant, Ann Bartholomew, provided technical and editorial support in the drafting and costing of the PRSP II to be endorsed by the donor community. Outputs included a draft PRSP strategy, as well as a summary presentation aimed at donors and stakeholders. |
