Rethinking sector strategic budgeting

| Two Mokoro consultants, Catherine Dom and Mary Betley, assisted the European Commission (EC) Headquarters and Delegation staff in rethinking the EC approach to sector strategic budgeting during the design and implementation of sector support programmes.
This support was an input into a wider process of revising the EC guidelines for Sector Policy Support Programmes. The consultancy made recommendations for a reorientation to strengthen links with broader public financial management (PFM) and MTEF development processes. This work was an input into a process of revising the EC guidelines for SPSPs. |
