Doe-e has over 18 years’ experience in international development, with work experience in countries including Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan and the United States, leading the design and implementation of programmes focused on sustainable livelihoods, food security, agriculture, market linkages for smallholder farmers, while ensuring cohesion between programme practice and policy/advocacy work in order to maximise impact and enhance institutional effectiveness. Her particular expertise are in programme design, strategic and programme evaluations, policy development and analysis, strategy development, and incorporating cross-cutting issues such as gender, disability and accountability to affected population (AAP) into programmes and evaluations. Doe-e has strong analytical and qualitative research skills, as well as a solid understanding of evaluation methods and tools.
Since 2014, Doe-e has worked as a consultant, leading and participating in several evaluations and assessments focusing on various sectors, including livelihoods, agriculture, education, nutrition, and humanitarian and refugee assistance.
