Fiona Dixon

Consultant and Director

Fiona Dixon is an economist with more than twenty years experience in both Africa and Asia. She has specialised in agricultural and rural development and monitoring, and more recently in human rights of marginalised groups. She worked for many years as a consultant in the planning and development of agriculture, land and water resources and markets for government, donor, and commercial organisations. Her recent work in the NGO sector has been focused on advancing and defending rights of marginalised groups, particularly people with disabilities and women in rural communities. She has worked to develop unique programmes that link litigation and social work to address discrimination at both the human individual level and the national/constitutional level.
